10 Ways To De-stress Your Day

I incorporate these tips into my life everyday. Experiment and see what works for you.

  1. Start or end the day with prayer, affirmations, chanting mantras, or writing a gratitude list.
  2. Spend time in nature sitting by the river, hugging a tree, or growing an herb garden.
  3. Meditate or focus on your breath for five minutes.
  4. Listen to music and dance around.
  5. Daydream.
  6. Eat fresh produce that’s local, organic, and seasonal.
  7. Enjoy a piece of dark chocolate.
  8. Visit with supportive friends and family.
  9. Turn off or silence cell phone during meals and before going to bed.
  10. Keep a journal. Record dreams, write poetry, or free write.
