Venus is often reduced as the planet of love and relationships. But it also rules money, beauty, food, the arts, social justice, and good health. It moves into its own sign of sidereal Taurus on March 28 and stays there until July 31. This transit is three additional months longer than usual because of its retrograde May 12 to June 24.
Taurus is the earthy and feminine side of Venus that loves luxury, good food, wine, and the arts. This may be a surprisingly auspicious time for the collective. However, there may be some drawbacks because Taurus also rules the face, mouth, neck, tonsils, throat, and thyroid gland (hormones controlling metabolism). Too much of a good thing can be harmful.
Additionally, Venus retrograde may be a time to slow down on the roaring good time. Creative projects put on the back burner may beg to be completed or reconfigured. Money from hidden sources may surface. The face and neck may need special attention.
To actively engage with Venus in a balanced way, spend time enjoying and creating music, art, and literature; work out or change your diet; beautify your home; or spend quality time with your romantic partner(s).
Pay special attention to where Venus falls in your chart based on your ascendant/ rising sign. This is where it is guiding you to ‘ground’ your energy for the next four months.
